About us
Household help shouldn't depend on who you can phone.
Didi Now started with a very ordinary Hyderabad problem — and a belief that the answer was already living inside your own community.
The problem
Your regular maid is unwell. Guests arrive tomorrow. A festival just ended and the kitchen looks like it. In most Hyderabad homes the fallback is a scramble — messaging neighbours, asking the security desk, hoping someone knows someone who is free today.
Why we started
City-wide help apps answer that with a stranger who is forty minutes and one traffic jam away, and who still has to clear your gate. That is a delivery model borrowed from food, applied to something far more personal: your home.
Why communities
So we built Didi Now the other way round. Work is scoped to the community it comes from, which means the Didi who accepts your booking is already inside the gate. Help arrives in minutes, security is straightforward, faces become familiar, and accountability is real because your neighbours' ratings decide who keeps serving the community.
What it means for Didis
The same design changes the work itself. No long unpaid commutes between houses across the city, work close to where she already is, transparent per-job earnings, and digital payouts after each OTP-confirmed job.
Hyderabad first
We are not trying to be everywhere. We open one Hyderabad community at a time and make sure it works properly before adding the next.
