What is Didi Now?+
Didi Now is an app for booking household help inside Hyderabad. You can book a verified Didi for maid work — sweeping, mopping, utensils, dusting and kitchen tidying — or for bathroom cleaning.

Which cities do you serve?+
Hyderabad only, for now, and community by community rather than city-wide. Open the app to see whether your address is covered.

Is Didi Now available outside communities?+
Didi Now is built around communities, so availability outside them is limited. The app is the authority — enter your address and it will tell you whether you can book.

What are your working hours?+
Bookings and support run 6:00 am – 7:00 pm, every day.

How fast will a Didi arrive?+
Instant bookings go to Didis available in your community, so arrival is typically within about 10 minutes. It depends on who is free at that moment.

What tasks can I select?+
For maid service you can pick from sweeping, mopping (jhadu-pocha), utensils / dishwashing, general dusting, kitchen tidying. Bathroom cleaning covers floor scrubbing, wall tiles, toilet cleaning, wash basin and mirror, taps and fittings. You only pay for what you tick.

How does scheduled booking work?+
Instead of booking for now, pick a later time slot. The booking is assigned close to that time rather than immediately.

What happens if no Didi is immediately available?+
The request keeps going out to other available Didis in your community. If nobody is able to take it, the app closes the booking and tells you — you are not left waiting silently. The app shows the current status of your booking at all times.

Can I book for someone else?+
Yes — book from your account and enter the address and contact details of the home the Didi should go to. Make sure whoever is there can share the completion OTP.

Can I request the same Didi again?+
Assignment depends on who is available in your community at that moment, so a specific Didi cannot be guaranteed. Your ratings do influence who continues serving your community.

Does the Didi bring cleaning supplies?+
Household cleaning is normally done with the supplies and equipment already in your home. Check the task details in the app before you confirm a booking.

How much does it cost?+
A quick single task starts from ₹60, maid service from ₹100 and bathroom cleaning from ₹150 per bathroom. Your actual total depends on flat size, the tasks you select and the number of bathrooms — and the app shows it in full before you confirm.

Will anything be added to the price later?+
No. The amount shown on the confirmation screen is the amount for the booking as you have configured it. If you ask the Didi to do extra work on the spot, that is a change to the booking and the app will reflect it.

Which payment methods can I use?+
Payments are made in the app through a payment gateway. The exact options available to you appear on the payment screen at checkout.

Payments are processed by a payment gateway. Didi Now does not store your card details.

How does cancellation work?+
You can cancel a booking from the app. Cancelling very late, after a Didi has already accepted and set off, may attract a charge — the app tells you before you confirm the cancellation.

Where does my refund go?+
A refund is returned through the method you paid with. The app shows the refund status for that booking; refunds back to a bank or card can take a few business days to appear.

Why do I share an OTP after the service?+
The completion OTP is how a job is closed. You share it only once the work is done to your satisfaction, which protects you and gives the Didi a clear record that she completed the job.

How are Didis verified?+
Four steps before her first booking: a government ID check, mobile number verification, an in-person screening by our team, and training on the work, the app and conduct in a resident's home.

Who is actually coming into my home?+
A Didi assigned to your own community, not a worker dispatched from across the city. You can see who has accepted your booking in the app before she arrives.

Ratings from residents are how quality is maintained in each community — they decide which Didis keep serving it.

Can I request Didi Now for my community?+
Yes. Use the request form on the home page or the Communities page with your community name and phone number, and our Hyderabad team will follow up.

Does the community have to pay anything?+
No. Didi Now is paid by residents per booking.

How do I join as a Didi?+
Apply through the Join as a Didi page, or call or WhatsApp +91 80081 80018. Every applicant goes through ID verification, phone verification, an in-person screening and training before her first booking.
